40th Annual HBCU College Fair

The 40th Annual Indianapolis Black Alumni Council, Inc. will be held on September 26th at the historic Crispus Attucks High School from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.  This year we have a host of events leading up to college fair. 


Historically Black Colleges and Universities play an important role in cultivating the most talented African American professionals in medicine, law, education, nursing, business, STEM, and other areas.  This spectacular event will showcase different HBCUs from across the country and give students and parents the opportunity to speak with admissions counselors directly.

The College Fair provides a unique opportunity for student and parents to learn about diverse educational institutions.  HBCUs are known for having a nurturing environment where students are challenged to grow to stimulate intellectual growth.  They offer opportunities to students who are willing to meet them halfway as together they build a foundation of excellence.

This event is for seniors with an unweighted 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale.  College recruiters interview students and present on-site offers including Full Academic Scholarships, Presidental Scholarships and more.  Last year the total value of scholarships offered was $5.2 million .
